About Us Our Mission
To ensure that we deliver on our pledge we are continuing to work with policy makers, government departments and responsible organisations.
Govconnect
Govconnect is a uniquely positioned, socially focussed organisation dedicated to supporting the transference of the latest knowledge, evidence, insights and thinking on current and future UK Government Policies related to all UK Healthcare settings.
Through our established and trusted communication channels, we seek to ensure that the visions for Health and Care are delivered upon, and all delivery agents and partner organisations have a platform through which they can communicate both challenges and opportunities. Enabling innovations and system re-design to occur and communities of practice to be formed.
Our work to date has centred around: Dementia, Mental Health, Health Inequality, Improving Patient Safety & Care, and NHS Long Term Plan agendas. Our 2022-2030 focus will continue to centre around these historic topics, alongside new emerging agendas such as Integrated Care Systems, a Greener NHS and Big Pharma.
As a partner of the Royal Society of Medicine, we share their ethos of ongoing education and continuous learning for healthcare professionals.
Our social status and bespoke approach to the allocation of the revenues we generate enables us to provide key healthcare personnel, with fully funded bursaries to access CPD accredited conferences and webinars and become part of peer-to-peer networks, driving effective change and ensuring continuous improvement.
Conferences
Since 2015 we have supported the delivery of Healthcare policy through the successful production of a series of strategic conferences. We work with the most senior Government representatives and leading Healthcare bodies to ensure that the knowledge presented and the debate stimulated at our events are at the cutting edge of current and future policy.
Our CPD-certified conferences have focused on the Dementia, Mental Health, Health Inequality, Improving Patient Safety & Care, and NHS Long Term Plan agendas. Govconnect’s strategic conferences provide bursary-funded attendance for all key personnel involved in these challenges and are hosted at the Royal Society of Medicine, our partner venue and organisation. We ensure that our events reflect our values and provide an enviroment of ongoing education and continuous learning for healthcare professionals.
Webinars
Our co-produced webinars have become an essential tool over recent years to enable critically-timed communications and knowledge to be shared efficiently and effectively to a wide audience. Working with Internationally renowned leaders and organisations from across the NHS, Government, Academia, VCSE and Industry sectors, our live broadcasts provide participants and attendees the opportunity to promote true collaboration and partnership working.
These sessions have also become an important vehicle in ensuring that the latest Healthcare innovations have a window to showcase their benefits, and present their evidence, for wider adoption in order to improve health outcomes. Working alongside the AHSN Network, amongst others, we have successfully contributed to the rapid spread of technologies, therapies and systems that have reduced disease burden and saved lives.
