Andrew Bailey
Biography
Andy serves as the Operations Manager for the Virtual Ward at Cambridge University Hospitals.
As a pivotal member of the senior team, Andy has been instrumental in expanding the service
from a few patients in November 2022 to a thriving and essential component of patient care.
With a robust background in operational management within both the NHS and the Prison
Service, Andy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Before joining the Virtual
Ward, he spent nine years as the Urgent and Emergency Care Operations Manager, where he
consistently demonstrated his leadership and dedication to improving healthcare services.
