Our Mission
Govconnect is a uniquely positioned, socially focused organisation dedicated to supporting the transference of the latest knowledge, evidence, insights and thinking on current and future UK Government Policy related to all UK Healthcare settings.
Through our established and trusted communication channels, we seek to ensure that the visions for Health and Care are delivered upon, and all delivery agents and partner organisations have a platform through which they can communicate both the challenges and opportunities. Enabling innovations and system re-design to occur and communities of practice to be formed.
I really enjoyed being part of the recent Govconnect conference on the NHS Long Term Plan at the Royal Society of Medicine. It was great to meet colleagues including key decision makers from the NHS, and also to have the opportunity to speak to industry representatives in the great surroundings of the RSM.
The GovConnect conferences are informative, educational and provide updates of current policy and best practice. The speakers are outstanding and are senior leaders in their fields - covering government, health and social care, the voluntary sector and think tanks. An opportunity to hear about national policy, to practice at the coal face. The venue is outstanding and the networking second to none.
Working with Govconnect on the HiAP 2019 conference was an unexpected pleasure. Of all the conference organisations I have worked with I have not come across one that is so professional, understanding and comprehensive in their approach. I would happily work with them in future.
Being part of a Govconnect conference was a fantastic experience. It gave me the opportunity to be part of a very interesting, informative and stimulating day. It was a pleasure and an honour to be invited to speak at the Mental Health 2017 conference on 20th September at the Royal Society of Medicine. If felt it was a well organised conference with thought-provoking content.
